A :  Due to hygiene reasons, we are afraid that dogs are not allowed on the actual pumpkin patch, but you are more than welcome to let them run around the field as long as they stay away from cars and pumpkins !

A:  We recommend that you do not use a satnav to find us because the lanes get very congested.  Please see below for directions and follow the signs.

Q : HOW MANY PUMPKINS ARE THERE ?

A : Thousands and thousands and thousands ! We plant about 20,000 seeds, some plants will produce more than one pumpkin, and other seeds won't germinate at all. But there is certainly plenty out there and over twenty five different varieties !

A :  South Milton Sands (home to Thurlestone Rock) is just a 10-15 minute walk the pumpkin patch.  Leave you car at the patch for free parking all day, wander down to the beach and let the children run off that excess energy !

Directions :

Please do not use your satnav to reach the South Devon Pumpkin Patch ! The Devon lanes are very

narrow and get easily congested.

We suggest you use a good old fashioned map!

Head for the stretch of the A381 which runs between West Alvington and Malborough (heading towards Salcombe). After approx. 2 miles from West Alvington on the A381 there will be a sign on the right

for South Milton.  Turn off here and drive right

through the village, past the church and continue for about 1 mile and you will

see the signs for the Pumpkin Patch !  e Pl
