Nestled in the heart of the picturesque South Hams, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and right on the coast, you will find Terawhiti Farm and our enchanting South Devon Pumpkin Patch!

Terawhiti is a small family run farm that primarily grows veg ! We have a passion for what we grow including the pumpkins which we nuture right from seed until the day you take them home !

So whether it's big ones, small ones, warty ones, pumpkins with stripes or white ones we have it all! Thousands and thousands of pumpkins, and over twenty five varieties, are waiting in our patch to be chosen, carved or even eaten by you !

We Look Forward to Seeing You In October ....

But we start thinking about pumpkins in January ! So as soon as the Christmas festivities are over we start to select our pumpkin seed for the coming Autumn. In May we sow the pumpkin seeds and they are left to germinate in our greenhouse. In June the plants are big enough to transplant outside to the Patch. Throughout the summer, our pumpkins will need the right amount of rain and sunshine to grow, swell and turn that beautiful autumnal orange colour. In September, the sprawling pumpkin plant will be ready to die back leaving it's spectacular fruit behind. In October, you have the fun and pleasure to walk the patch finding the perfect pumpkin to take home !

We always suggest coming early in October to get the best choice and selection of pumpkins!
